Terracotta otherwise called “baked earth” is nothing but clay that is used to make tiles and decorative items. Like other clay toys and utilitarian goods, terracotta tiles are baked in a kiln or dried in the sun and are commonly reddish in color, but the color may vary according to the clay that is used. Terracotta tiles looks wonderful when left in their natural state, but they are too porous. So, they are sealed more than once after installation. This can be done by a professional, as it is quiet a tedious process. Terracotta are inexpensive and anyone can afford them.
